Ronald H. Dixon March 30, 1943 Ronald H. Dixon, 61, Brownstown, died Sunday, May 30, 2004, at his residence. Mr. Dixon had retired from Amoco Container (Silgan Plastics), where he had worked in maintenance.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was a member of the Original Mountain Cur Breeder's Association. He was of the Pentecostal faith, and he had lived most of his life in Jackson County. Born March 30, 1943, at Indianapolis, he was a son of Harvey and Dorothy Stepp Dixon, who preceded him in death. He married Mary Margaret Smith, who survives.

He also is survived by two step sons, Clyde (Barbara) LeMarr, Brownstown, and Michael LeMarr, Vallonia; May 30, 2004 three brothers, Roger Dixon, Columbus, and Michael and Kenneth Dixon, both of DeLand, two sisters, Virginia Ross and Linda Petro, both of Columbus; four stepgrandchildren, Michael Ray, Jason, Brian and Matthew LeMarr; and two stepgreatgrandchildren, Triston and Jacob LeMarr. The Rev. Neal McCoy will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home, Brownstown. Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown, with military graveside rites being conducted.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Perry Lucas April 20, 1929 May 28, 2004 Perry Lucas, 75, North Vernon, died at 4:50 p.m. Friday, May 28, 2004, at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.

Mr. Perry had owned and operated Flea Market in Vernon since 1992. He was the former owner of the Lucas Wrecker Service for 30 years and also a former owner of Lucas Oil for 20 years. He also worked for Cosco in Columbus for nine years. He was a member of Six Mile Masonic Lodge 412, Hayden.

Born April 20, 1929, in Brown County, he was a son of Jesse B. and Mary E. Harden Lucas. He married Alta Brady Jan. 2, 1948, at Columbus, and she preceded him in death April 12, 1997.

He is survived by a companion, Tammy Day, North Vernon; three daughters, Alice Collett, Scipio, and Janet Moore and Julie Thomas, both of North Vernon; two sons, Richard Dale Lucas, Hayden, and Paul E. Lucas, North Vernon; a brother, Raymond Lucas, Scottsburg; 12 grandchildren, Kimberly Thomas and Scott Lucas, both of Columbus, Jeff Lucas, Billy Jackson, Melissa Hatton, Zach Lucas, Karen and Jesse Bannister and Crystal and Perry Collett, all of North Vernon, Margaret Short, Madison, and Josh Bannister, Sunman; two step grandchildren, Scott Thomas, Knightstown, and Eric Thomas, Columbus; 17 great-grandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Maggie King, and four brothers, Clinton, Russell, Wilson and Ellsworth Lucas. The Rev. William A.

Trinity Continued from Page 1A Sauls spoke about how Trinity High School has changed his life and which it has been a "preparation" for his future at Butler University, where he will be attending in the fall.

"The high school I previously attended did not have the academics that Trinity has," Sauls said. He started at Trinity when it first opened. He was in his sophom*ore year of high school. He continuously credited Trinity Lutheran in his graduation address for helping him to prepare for his future at Butler University. The commencement address was given by Dr.

He expressed the importance of becoming an advocate in life and how important Jesus Christ is, as he is an advocate for all of us.
